Editorial Policy

Recommendations must remain useful when a reader inspects the evidence, the setup burden, and the commercial relationship.

Editorial independence

Affiliate relationships, free products, loans, sponsorships, and other material connections are disclosed. They do not purchase a ranking, claim, or omission. The editorial team controls what is researched and published.

Evidence standard

  • Every commercial recommendation identifies an exact US model and ASIN.
  • Material specifications trace to manufacturer, support/manual, or retailer sources.
  • Claims stay attributed when they are not independently measured.
  • Source conflicts and unavailable facts remain visible.
  • No hands-on or long-term-use language appears without actual documented use.

Product selection

We select a small set of machines that represent genuinely different buyer workflows. Stable identity, documentation, complete-setup clarity, availability, and meaningful differentiation matter more than list length.

Updates and freshness

Editorial review, source checks, and retailer availability have separate meanings. An updated date changes only after material review. Current Amazon offer state is dated separately and must be rechecked during maintenance because seller, condition, price, and availability can change.

Automation and responsibility

Software may organize records, validate links, and flag stale fields. It cannot invent experience, approve a safety claim, or replace editorial responsibility. Published conclusions remain our responsibility.

Editorial transparency

This page is governed by our editorial policy, review methodology, and corrections process.
